You may recognize this terrain from our game table photos
as
well as our display booth at conventions like Gen Con and
Origins.
Our handmade terrain evolved from our own game table.
We have
used this terrain for many years, gradually expanding
our collection
over time.

|
The way we use terrain is more functional than realistic.
For example, we often do not use walls — they obstruct
visibility
of the minis and status markers. Instead, we lay out
the tiles
representing the walkable areas of the dungeon.
|
|
We also keep additional decorations to a minimum;
adding them when it impacts the scene rather than adding
them for visual enhancement. This functional approach lends
to faster setup and teardown, keeping the game moving along.
